Halcyon shortlisted in the 2014 Lux Awards October 08 2014, 0 Comments

PhotonStar's Halcyon has been shortlisted in the Controls Innovation of the Year category of the Lux Awards 2014.

Halcyon is a lighting centric, Internet of Things platform that will enable advanced, wirelessly controlled, circadian lighting. Whilst designed for lighting, Halcyon is providing new possibilities in technology based on circadian, energy-saving and data-centric applications. It is also the first retrofit LED lighting system to offer circadian control, which automatically adjusts the light output and colour throughout the day to mimic daylight.

The Lux Awards recognises clients and end-users that have used lighting in exceptional ways to improve their lit environment and reduce energy. This year's shortlist features the very best projects and the most exciting technology innovations in lighting.

The winners will be announced at The Troxy in East London on the 20th November.
